Hello! I'm Rachel
Communication and Business Student
I am a student at The University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication and business administration. I am set to graduate in Winter of 2026, a semester ahead of my peer group.

I plan to use my strong interpersonal and business communication skills to enter the communications field after graduation. Growing up in the Los Angeles area and then moving to Bismarck for college has allowed me to experience what I like to call the “Hallmark Movie Trope”. However, unlike Hallmark’s main characters who give up on their big city dreams to find community in the small town, I am passionate about using communication to foster amity and find success in any place I find myself in, whether that be back home in LA or anywhere else.
My passion extends to my dedication in serving my community. I have a permanent volunteer position at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church as a Sacristan. I also volunteer with the Brothers of Charity in their effort to support and feed the homeless in downtown Los Angeles.
I strive to dedicate myself fully to my studies, and I put forth my best effort into all the work I accomplish to produce high quality deliverables. I graduated high school as Valedictorian. I have achieved a 4.0 GPA and made the Dean’s List every semester of college thus far.
I believe that my education at The University of Mary and my volunteer position have helped me grow into a qualified communicator and have prepared me for my future career. I am currently looking for an internship in public relations or marketing communications, in the Bismarck area. Feel free to reach out to me by email or connect with me on LinkedIn.
